Mickey is a mixed-race Filipino & Irish writer/director, best known for his music video and commercial work with artists like LMFAO, Cee Lo Green, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, and world-class brands such as Riot Games, Dell, Playstation, and Alienware, among many others.
His success as a director has led him to video nominations from The People’s Choice Awards, MTV VMAs, American Music Awards, and the Much Music Video Awards, in which his video for LMFAO’s Sexy And I Know It won “International Video of the Year.” His commercial spots for Scream Queens also won a Promax for “Best Commercial Campaign”, and a Nickelodeon campaign won him an Emmy Award in 2018.
Mickey also has several notable achievements in the narrative world. His most recent short film, Mom Fight, was screened at numerous film festivals, including Dances With Films, Filmquest, CAAMfest, Seattle International, and GENCON, where it took home the “Best Comedy” award.
Mickey is a self-proclaimed Video Game and Comic Book enthusiast. He is a member of the Director’s Guild of America, a proud graduate of USC, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
